Who we are

Blossoming is the trading name of Blossoming Women Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 15094251, registered office 82a James Carter Road, Mildenhall, Bury St Edmunds IP28 7DE). We work from Ware, Hertfordshire. We are the data controller for the personal information described in this policy. You can contact us about anything in it at jody@blossoming.uk.

The information we collect

We collect only what we need to run Blossoming well:

How we use it

Our lawful bases under UK data protection law are: contract (providing what you’ve bought or requested), consent (the mailing list, which you can withdraw at any time), legal obligation (accounting records) and legitimate interests (keeping the site and our forms secure, and improving our services), with analytics used only where you have given consent.

Who we share it with

We never sell your information. We share it only with the services that make Blossoming work: our website host, our payment processor (Stripe), our email platform (Brevo), Google Analytics (if you have accepted analytics cookies) and Google reCAPTCHA, which checks that form submissions come from a person rather than a bot. Each is bound by its own data-protection obligations, and receives only what it needs to provide its service.

How long we keep it

Mailing-list details are kept until you unsubscribe. Purchase records are kept for six years, as UK tax law requires. Enquiry messages are kept only as long as needed to help you. Course accounts are kept while your access is active.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, to correct it, to have it deleted, to restrict or object to how it’s used, and to receive a copy in a portable format. To exercise any of these, email jody@blossoming.uk. If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.

Cookies

The site uses a small number of cookies and similar technologies. Essential ones make the site, the sign-up forms and the checkout work. We also use Google reCAPTCHA on every page to protect our forms from automated abuse; it is necessary for the security of the site, and Google’s privacy policy and terms apply to it. Analytics cookies, set by Google Analytics, are only used if you accept them when you first arrive. You can change your mind at any time using the Cookies link at the foot of every page, and you can control cookies through your browser settings.

Children

Our website, programmes and events are designed for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, the new version will be published on this page with an updated date at the top.
